Catlin End to End 2010

The Catlin End-to-End is a charity fundraising fitness event that will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2010. 

The annual event, in it’s 23rd year, raises over $300,000 each year for charity, with over 3,000 walkers, runners, swimmers, equestrians, sailors, cyclists and rowers taking part.  There are various distances and methods of participation as noted. 

The 26 mile walk/run,cycle starts at 8am in St.George’s to Dockyard.  The 14 mile Middle to End starts at 10am from Albuoy’s Point in the city of Hamilton.  The 12 mile Middle to End cycle starts from Bermuda College at 11am.  The 4 mile Fun Walk starts from Sandys Middle School on Scotts Hill Road in Sandys Parish at 2pm.

Adult participants pay $40.00 to enter and receive a high-quality t-shirt, goody bag that includes such items as a eco-friendly water bottle, snacks etc. Young adults, under 18, do not pay the registration fee but are asked to raise $40.00 in pledges.  All participants are encouraged to raise at least $100.00 in pledges that go 100% toward the chosen charities.

The Finish Line is in the Royal Naval Dockyard.  There’s food, wellness vendors, entertainment and lots of spectators too.  It is possible to register on line at www.bermudaendtoend.bm .  Questions?  Email etc@logic.bm or call (441) 292-6992 hotline/(441) 292-9741 ext 108 office. 

The Catlin End-to-End is the only fitness event where you are able to walk an entire country in one day!  Visitors to the island will enjoy the opportunity to mingle with locals, the 14 water stops along with the way that serve water, food and entertainment.
